Player of the Week - 2/28/21

Sunday February 28th

After a weekend full of stellar offensive performances, one sticks out among the rest. This weeks “Player of the week” comes from the South Shore conference. With an outburst of 5 goals on the weekend, 2010 South Shore Dynamo’s All-star Ryan Foley was spectacular leading his team to a 5-2 victory over a gritty Greater Boston team. Head Coach Mike Crowell said, “Ryan Foley always plays super hard and gives 100% to win when we are down and in tight situations.  Lately we have all been in a drought putting points on the board with the high level of competition we are facing this season and teams playing us really, really hard defensively as well as outstanding goaltending. Ryan is a special player who excels when pressure is high, he will elevate his game and seems to somehow become faster with the puck on his stick.  At this age this is very hard to find in many players.  I can’t say enough great things about Ryan as a teammate and a player for the 2010 Dynamos. It has been a true privilege to coach this young man, he represents our team and organization incredibly well each time he steps on the ice!”

Congratulations on a superb performance, Ryan!
