New England Hockey League
Player of the Week - 12/20/20

Sunday December 20th

There were 10 games on the docket this past weekend, each of which displaying fantastic effort by a number of players. This week, the VHL/NEHL All-Stars would like to recognize Patrick Stamm from the 2008 Peewee Major Greater Boston team. Greater Boston squared off against a very solid South Shore team and put forth an excellent offensive effort. Leading the charge was #6 Patrick Stamm. Patrick found the score sheet twice netting his first goal late in the first period, then finding the back of the net again late in the second period. But it was his leadership that stood out and inspired the rest of his team to the rise to the occasion. When asked about Patrick’s game, Head coach Conal Barbuto had this to say, “It's nice to fill the scoresheet, but Pat's fore-checking and tenacious 1 on 1 play made him a real impact player in our game, and inspired our whole team to play with intensity and grit." Congratulations to Patrick on being named the NEHL Player of the Week!
